ICAR-KVK Ri-Bhoi today organized two days on campus training programme in collaboration with IIPR, Kanpur on Pulse production Technology where 100 farmers of 4 village of Ri-Bhoi district took part on 26 and 27th March,2024. During the programme various sessions on Pulse production technology were taken up. Scientists from ICAR, Umiam, KVK and NBPGR took different sessions like prospects and potential of pulses, management of important diseases, INM practices, organic cultivation , value addition for entrepreneurship development etc. were covered by resource person like Dr. Mokidul Islam, PS & Head, KVK, Dr. Tasvina R.Bora, Sr. Scientist, Dr. Badap Makdoh, Dr. Subarna Hajong, Dr. Prabha Devi, Dr. Meghna Sarma and Mrs. Eliza Syiemlieh. A video film on Pulse production technology was shown to the farmers for enhancing their knowledge on different aspects of Pulse crop. The farmers queries on various agricultural problems were clarified by the scientists during the two days programme.
