The ICAR-RC-NEHR, Manipur Centre organized a field day programme on “Scientific Fish Culture” at the Naorem Village, an adopted village under TSP propramme on 1st March, 2024. A total of 8 nos. progressive fisherfolk from the Naorem Village, Bishnupur District, Manipur participated in the one-day field day programme. The fish farmers were demonstrated on scientific fish culture like fish stocking management, integrated fish farming model, economics of fish farming. The programme was co-ordinated by Smt. N. Peetambari Devi, Scientist (F.R.M), Dr. Ch. Basudha Devi, Principal Scientist (Fishery Sc.), Shri. W. Anand Meetei, Scientist (F.R.M), Dr. Kh. Rishikanta Singh, Senior Scientist (Agri. Eco.) and Dr. T. Basanta Singh, Scientist (Soil Sc.).
