The ICAR Mizoram Centre, Kolasib conducted training programme cum input distribution on 11th September, 2024 & 12th September, 2024 at Lunglei and Serchhip under Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP).
        A total of 100 farmers from different villages of Hnahthial, Lunglei and Serchhip district participated in the programme. The farmers were given training on Scientific management and feeding practices of Backyard poultry, diseases of poultry and their bio- security measures, health management for profitable backyard poultry farming, Scientific poultry farming for sustainable livelihood etc. The farmers discussed with the expert on the problems faced on the aspect of animal health and management. A total of 2000 chicks, 100 nos. of poultry feederer, 100 nos. of poultry waterer and several veterinary medicines were distributed to the farmers.
