The ICAR Mizoram Centre, Kolasib conducted Hands on training on “Different Agricultural technologies for Entrepreneurship Development”on 22ndMarch, 2024. The programme was organized under Agri-Business Incubation (ABI). The training was inaugurated by the HoRC, Dr. S. Doley, ICAR, Mizoram Centre, Kolasib. During the inauguration, Dr. S. Doley welcome all the participants and highlighted the Scope and importance of Entrepreneurship development in Mizoram.
         A total of 30 farmers from different locality of Kolasib like Hmarveng, Khuangpuilam, Electric veng, Tumpui, Project veng, Venglai and Vengthar participated in the training programme. Farmers were also given a practical demonstration on Poultry & Hatchery unit management, processing of turmeric and Oystermushroom cultivation. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Lalhruaipuii, Senior Scientist (Vety.Micro.), Dr. Blessa Sailo Senior Scientist (Vety.Public Health), Shri. P.L. Lalrinsanga, Scientist (Aquaculture),Dr. Lungmuana, Senior Scientist (Soil Science)and Dr. Vanlalruati, Scientist (Floriculture) with technical assistance from Dr. B. Lalramhlimi, YP-II (Horticulture) and Miss Loicy Lalmuanchhani, YP-I (Mushroom).
