The ICAR Mizoram Centre, Kolasib conducted Field day cum input distribution on 13th February, 2024 under Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) at Vengthar, Kolasib.
A total of 16 farmers from Kawnpui, Bukvannei and Meidum villages participated in the programme. The farmers were demonstrated on different care and management of poultry birds like feeding, housing, biosecurity measures, health care and importance of vaccination. Several inputs including 320 chicks, 16 kg of poultry feed, and medicines were distributed to the farmers during the programme. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Lalhruaipuii, Senior Scientist (Vety.Microbiology) and Dr. BlessaSailo.
