ICAR-KVK Ri-Bhoi today organized an off campus demonstration programme on preparation of Jeevamrit and Beejaamrit under Natural farming where 35 farmers of “Khamar” village of Ri-Bhoi district took part on 20th March,2024. Dr. Meghna Sarmah, SMS (Agronomy) of KVK Ri-Bhoi explained the farmers on different formulations for preparation of Jeevamrit and Beejamrit with the use of cow dung and cow urine . A demonstration was also conducted where the farmers were shown preparation of Jeevamrit and Beejamrit and its application in their fields. The programme ended with distribution of leaflet on Natural farming in local language.
