ICAR-KVK Namsai successfully conducted “Critical input distribution programme” under National Innovations on Climate Resilient Agriculture-Technology Demonstration Component (NICRA-TDC) at KVK premises on 12.06.24 to the NICRA villages farmers of Mengkang khamti and Krishnapur villages. 8q of three rice varieties like submergence tolerance var. Ranjit sub-I, staggered planting var. Numoli and short duration var. Disang were distributed among 38 numbers of farmers. Also, 50 kg milky mushroom and 1000 nos. fodder slip of congo signal distributed to the NICRA village farmers.
        Dr. Madhumita Sonowal Bora, SMS(Plant Protection), KVK Namsai thoroughly discussed about the characteristics of three different rice varieties and insect/pest and disease management by using biopesticides. She also explained about step by step procedure for growing of milky mushroom.
        Nang Nancy Munglang, SRF, NICRA project actively participated in distribution of inputs among the farmers and highlighted the importance of cultivation of fodder crops.
