KVK, Namsai conducted Coconut seedling (var.Kamrupa tall, Assam tall, East tall and West tall) distribution programme in collaboration with coconut Development Board (CDB) Guwahati, Assam in guidance of Dr. Madhumita Sonowal Bora, SMS (Plant Protection), Dr. Utpal Barua, Senior Scientist cum Head and Nang Nancy Munglang, SRF to NICRA ST farmers and other ST farmers of Namsai District. A total of 2500 numbers of seedling distributed to 53 farmers of Wagun-I, Mengkeng Khamti, Chongkham, Kherem, Namsai, Juna Kachari, Napatia, Krishnapur, Podumoni, Mohaloni, Waisali and Kungseng villages.
