The ICAR - Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Tamenglong Charoi-Chagotlong, Tupul, Noney, Tamenglong was sanctioned by ICAR in the year 2006 vide sanctioned order no. F. No. 9(2)/203-AE-1 dated 19th December, 2005 and started proper functioning from April 2010 under the administrative control of ‘ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam’ Meghalaya. It falls under the umbrella of ICAR-Agriculture Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI)- Zone VII, Umiam Meghalaya. This KVK was established with the goal of enhancing the district's farming community. It acts as the district's knowledge and resource hub. Its main objectives are to improve the entire agricultural landscape, promote agricultural advances and disseminate agricultural technologies. |
